A summoner called Lisa has been called to the Calico Islands to kill another rival summoner who has gone crazy.
But will she actually obey her commands from the Mage's Council? Or will she do her own thing? Either way, your going to have a good time joining her on her adventure!
With over 34 monsters to collect, and 2.5 hours worth of playtime, there is a lot to do and a lot to see!

I had a lot of fun with this. The NPCs and story got a few chuckles out of me, the whole thing reminded me of a 90's OVA. It was also charming that you could speak to your monsters and they'd reveal a small bit of their personality that way. I used Goblin, Water Slime, Goblin Witch, and Asylum Angel the entire game. Their abilities allowed for some pretty broken strategies like setting up regeneration + hall of mirrors + the aoe sleep move (I forgot the name) + mandrake to proc poison on everyone. I cheesed the last two bosses that way. There was one glitch(?) and that was the Asylum Angel only being able to heal herself in battle, even if using an item.

Yeah I kinda figured Hall of Mirrors is broken as shit, but I never got a monster which could use it. The playthrough I'm gonna post uses poison alot as well, but with layering Burn on top of it, with Knockers for Burn, Blobber to Tank and buff defenses, and Goblin Witch for Poisoning and Octowizard to stun and tank as well. Melee is generally a bit weak in this game, need to come up with other ways to make them relevant...
I forgot to mention you could also use the formation command to swap monsters too mid battle, and that TP actually acts as a multiplier for damage. If you didn't know that is... Completely slipped my mind...
I think with Asylum Angel you had the mouse cursor on her, so you couldn't move between characters, it kinda locks it in place. It's obnoxious... Nice catch, really need to come up with a solution to it.
Also which difficulty were you playing at? Was it max difficulty, or normal?
I was playing on normal difficulty, I tend to do that for my first playthrough on most games. Melee was actually super strong on my Goblin, he absolutely tore through enemies if he was super effective against them. I actually didn't know that about the formation, would all the monsters get exp from it or is it just locked to the 4 in the party when the battle ends?
Nah, locked to the four members in the party. It's still useful, cause the whole idea is that you swap between monsters when one of them dies, gets disabled or runs out of mp, pretty much essential if you play on higher difficulties. I'm glad you were able to actually play through it anyway, despite not knowing!
Yeah, goblin is pretty strong, he has the highest attack in the game. One of my favourites as well.
